“I have been a resident for respite at Hayes Cottage for the past 5 weeks. I would like to say that all the staff were so kind and caring, nothing was much trouble, from the cleaner to the nursing staff.
I would recommend this home to anyone that is thinking of coming in to a nursing home.
The rooms are pleasant and I was able to add extra furnishings from home to make my room so comfortable. I got into a routine with the staff.”
Lovely letter from One of our Residents
“To All the Staff,
Just a few lines to Thank You all for the most wonderful care you gave me. I would love to thank you all individually but I can’t remember all your names. I am so glad I got to stay with you.
I would also like to thank the cooks for the lovely meals they prepared for us. I looked forward to my lovely bowl of porridge every morning (sorry Mary haha) with lots of salt and a hot beaker of milk in the evening.
I also thank the domestics for cleaning my room and spending a moment to talk to me and ask me how I was.
Now I must not forget the wonderful staff who organise the activities. For the month I spent some happy days playing bingo but as my condition deteriorated I was unable to attend the sessions.
Thanks also to the residents who made me laugh and enjoy ourselves and believe in Jesus and his blessed mother and I know not only did he give me nursing staff but angels as well.
I wish you all good health and happiness. All my love and thanks.
PS Oh Mandy – please forgive me but as the saying goes last but not least, thank you very much for my shampoos and sets.”

“To All the Nursing Staff on Primrose Ward,
We cannot thank you enough for the care and kindness you showed our mother during her stay in your ward. You treated her with utmost kindness, never letting her suffer in pain when it was within your power to stop it. My mother when she was able to speak, spoke about your kindness to her. Even at her end of life she was not afraid due to your professional attitude, you are all truly angels in disguise. God Bless you All.”
“To All the Wonderful Staff on Primrose Suite,
